Request deletion from HDS
You can ask HDS to delete personal data associated with your account, professional profile or a connected Meta, Instagram or WhatsApp Business integration.
Email brief@horsdessentiers.com with the subject Data deletion request.
Information to include
- The email address used for your HDS account.
- Your name and organisation.
- Whether the request concerns your complete HDS account or only data from a connected Meta channel.
- For a connected channel, the Instagram username, Facebook Page name or WhatsApp Business number sufficient to identify the integration.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card information or identity documents unless HDS specifically requests a proportionate verification method.
Disconnect a Meta integration
You may first disconnect HDS from the relevant integration settings in your HDS workspace or remove HDS from the business integration settings provided by Meta. Disconnecting stops HDS from collecting new information through that connection. It does not by itself delete information already stored in HDS, so send a deletion request if you also want existing data removed.
What happens next
HDS will acknowledge the request, may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority over the relevant business account, and will act within the period required by applicable law. Where the GDPR applies, this is normally within one month, subject to permitted extensions for complex requests.
Once verified, HDS will delete or irreversibly anonymise the data covered by the request from active systems, unless retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, contractual records, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Residual copies in protected backups are isolated from ordinary use and expire according to the backup cycle.
Scope and third parties
This process deletes data controlled by HDS. It does not delete the original Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp account, messages held by other conversation participants, or data controlled independently by Meta or another service provider. Those services must be managed through their own account and privacy settings.
